The goal of this project is to work with the Westside neighborhood in developing resources focused on community organizing and policy development and advocacy &#8211; among other resources that we hope can strengthen equity in the Westside.<\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][\/et_pb_row][et_pb_row _builder_version=&#8221;3.19.15&#8243;][et_pb_column type=&#8221;4_4&#8243; _builder_version=&#8221;3.19.15&#8243;][et_pb_text _builder_version=&#8221;3.19.15&#8243;]<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Southwest Blvd Development Corp<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Planning Sustainable Places &#8211; \u201cWest 31st Street Corridor\u201d \u2013 In partnership with the City of Kansas City, MO, and supported by the Mid-American Regional Council, the \u201cWest 31st Street Corridor\u201d project will seek to develop a transportation\/mobility plan for the project area (West 31st Street, SW Boulevard to SW Trafficway).<\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][\/et_pb_row][et_pb_row _builder_version=&#8221;3.19.15&#8243;][et_pb_column type=&#8221;4_4&#8243; _builder_version=&#8221;3.19.15&#8243;][et_pb_text _builder_version=&#8221;3.19.15&#8243;]<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Southwest Boulevard Community Improvement District (CID)<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Similar to homeowners or business associations, HEDC organizes \u00a0the business and will serve as the contracted manager for the CID.\u00a0 The CID allows property owners to organize and coordinate efforts to beautify, improve and develop their neighborhood in an effective manner. CIDs provide several options to pay for desired improvements and services.
